Press the Menu (three horizontal lines) button below the scroll wheel to access the UWT-100 main menu.

Menu items may be selected by pressing the number button that corresponds to each item in the submenu. Users may memorize button sequences to quickly access useful functions - i.e. toggle Yard Mode (Menu, 2, 3) or activate the flashlight (Menu, 0).

Menu Structure

1 Recall

Shows all addresses or locomotives that were run from this throttle, with the most recent first.

2 Operations

Quick access to many actions necessary for operating, such as releasing the current locomotive address or enabling Yard Mode.

2.1 Release

Release control over the current locomotive address, resulting in no locomotive selected on the throttle. Throttle will display an "E" for empty.

2.2 Dispatch

Dispatches currently selected locomotive. This is mostly of interest to Digitrax users when letting another throttle acquire a consist that has been created. Similar to 'Release,' this will result in no locomotive selected on the throttle.

2.3 Yard Mode

Toggles Yard Mode ON and OFF.

2.4 Loco Function List

Shows all known functions of the current locomotive.

3 Consisting

Use this menu to manage your consists. From this menu you can Create, View, Modify, and Delete consists.

3.1 Add Loco To Consist

Adds a locomotive to the current consist. If no consist is active, the consist will be created with the currently selected locomotive first.

3.2 View Current Consist

Lists the locomotives in the current consist, allowing you to edit or remove the consist members.

3.3 Clear Current Consist

Disbands the current consist, separating it into individual locomotives.

3.4 Consist Functions

Shows a list of consist functions. Selecting any function allows the user to determine whether to route the function to all members of the consist, or just to the current cab using Function Routing.

6 Network Options

WiFi network and connection settings. Allows you to add, edit, and delete network profiles.

6.1 Current Network

Shows the options for the currently connected network.

6.1.1 Name

Displays the SSID (network name) of the WiFi access point.

6.1.2 Reconnect

Selecting this option forces the throttle to disconnect from the current WiFi access point and attempt to re-connect to the same access point.

6.1.3 Connect Mode

Manually select either LCC or WiThrottle protocol operation.

6.1.4 Security

Select the type of security applied to the current WiFi access point. Typically WPA/WPA2.

6.1.5 Password

View and edit the current WiFi password.

6.1.6 Advanced Settings

Additional settings relating to the current network.

6.1.7 Save Profile

Saves the current network profile to 'Saved Networks.'

6.1.8 Delete Profile

Deletes the current network profile from the UWT-100.

6.2 Saved Networks

Shows a list of the stored network profiles. Selecting a profile brings up a list of many of the above options, including the editing or deletion of saved profiles.

6.3 Add Network

Starts the network connection guide to add a new WiFi connection to this throttle. Users may scan for WiFi, use their router's WPS button, or connect via Access Point Mode.

Scan for WiFi - Scans for nearby WiFi networks and shows a list. If you do not see your network, make sure it is powered on and scan again.

Use WPS Button - Use the button labeled WPS on your WiFi router to connect without needing to enter the WiFi password.

Access Point Mode - Use another device like a smartphone to add a new network to the throttle.
