Legacy Braking Mode
Legacy Braking Mode changes the way that the Train Brakes and Dynamic Brakes perform, it is controlled by CV61.
Train Brake Operation
In Legacy Braking mode the train brakes will turn on when the train brake function is turned on (any button that has a "Brake squeal" sound assigned to it, F7 by default) and will turn off when that button is turned off, when the speed is increased, or when the brake release button is pressed.
Dynamic Brake Operation
In Legacy Braking Mode The dynamic brakes will turn on when the dynamic brake function is turned on (F5 by default) and will turn off when when the dynamic brake button is turned off, the speed is increased, or the brake release button is pressed.
