List of Features
- Audio Assist™ The decoder talks you through how to program with a voice guided prompt
- Automatic Notching First created by TCS in 2014 Automatic Notching allows the locomotive to sense the load and notch accordingly, no more monotonous prime mover sounds that depend solely on the speed.
- CD Quality Audio files TCS WOWSound has highest the highest audio fidelity on the market, no one else has the memory capacity to even come close!
- DC Mode Operation WOWSound decoders now support DC mode operation with operating sounds!
- Decoder Updates WOWSound decoders now support infield firmware and sound set updates!
- New Lighting Effects For the first time ever you can create your own lighting effects or totally customize preloaded light modules!
- Switching/Mainline Momentum Quickly change momentum values without CV programming right from the main!
- Short Circuit Protection The decoder can now protect itself against short circuits, accidentally wire the light wrong? Shorted the motor to the frame? The decoder can protect itself against that!
- Train Brake The WOWSound supports a multi stage train brake that is not just on/off, making that perfect station stop is now possible with the WOWSound!
- Quick Presets To make some common programming configurations easy TCS provides a single CV setup for them.
- 3 Point Speed Curves Allows allows for a customized speed range, limiting the top end, increasing the start speed, or adjusting shifting the entire speed curve. This feature is mainly used for speed matching other locomotives or setting up the "prototype max speed"
Button Mappings
Standard CV's
There are 256 Standard CV's that control many aspects of the decoder, including address, motor control, lighting setup, and sound volumes
Indexed CV's
There are thousands of Indexed CV's which control more intricate decoder functions such as light modules, light presets, and speed tables.
Indexed CV's require that CV31 and CV32 be setup to configure the CV index
